 Elections At The March 2nd Meeting
As I sit here thinking about the past year and reflecting on the upcoming flying season. It struck me that, to my knowledge, the Oneonta R/C Flyers have never been a stronger, more active club. There is a greater percentage of the membership working to advance the club. The attitude of “somebody else will do it” or “look at me, ain’t I great” doesn’t come up anymore. We are facing a busy year with more and more organizations asking for our help in the form of static displays and flying demonstrations.
With this in mind and the March meeting approaching,we will elect the officers that will help guide us during the year. I’d like each and every one of you to sit back and think of ways you yourself can improve the club. How you as an officer can help lead the club forward. The club this past year has forged a solid foundation to build on. Each and every one of you have the ability and knowledge to make the Oneonta R/C Flyers an even stronger club in 2011. Let’s make this election one with many members participating. Keep in mind the only one that wins or loses is the club itself.
